Rhonda L. Tobin, 58, of Providence, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on May 11, 1967, in Providence, Rhonda was the beloved daughter of Philomena Vendituoli and John Anthony Rico. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard J. Tobin Jr., with whom she shared many cherished years.
Rhonda is survived by her two devoted daughters, Richelle L. Tobin and Rebecca J. Tobin, her Uncle Robert Vendituoli her brother John Rico and his wife Susan Rico and her beloved cats, Noodle and Blue. Her family was the center of her world, and her love for them was unconditional and enduring.
Rhonda worked as a plant administrator at Pawtucket Power in Pawtucket, RI, and most recently brought her warmth and dedication to Munroe Dairy in East Providence. Beyond her professional life, Rhonda was a woman of many talents. She had a passion for crafting, and her creativity shone in every piece she made. A gifted musician, she found joy in playing both the piano and the flute.
Known for her kind and welcoming spirit, Rhonda embraced everyone she met with compassion and dignity. Her gentle soul, artistic talents, and deep love for animals left a lasting mark on all who knew her. Rhonda was a beautiful soul who will be missed deeply by every life she touched.
A Celebration of Life will be planned and announced by her daughter, Richelle Tobin, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Rhonda’s memory by performing an act of kindness or supporting a local animal shelter in her name.
