Richard J. Mccaffrey, Sr.

Richard John McCaffrey Sr., 85, born May 6, 1936 passed away at home on March 16, 2022. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth McCaffrey.

He is survived by his children; Kathleen Ann Paquin and her husband James J. Paquin., daughter Lorraine Jane McCaffrey, son Richard John McCaffrey Jr., 7 grandchildren; Sarah Jane Paquin, Stephanie Ann Paquin, James J. Paquin Jr. Elsa A Hart her husband Steven Hart, Brittney McCaffrey, Brooke E. McCaffrey, Jake J. McCaffrey, and 2 great grandchildren; Kayden McCaffrey and Skylar McCaffrey, and a brother James McCaffrey and his wife Sandra. He was the father of the late Karen Ann Meadows (Peter Meadows).

He was a great father and husband and grandfather too!  He loved his family.

He also had another family of 5 stepchildren and 14 step grandchildren and 6 step great grandchildren. He loved them all as if they were his.

He had quite a lot of talent he was a wonderful tailor, singer, and artist. He owned his own business in downtown Pawtucket, The Singer Co store. He was a wonderful family man and friend.

His love of Ireland was a dream come true for him, he went a few times. His biggest dream was to sing on television witch he did in the 60s on the Salty Brine Talent Show.

His family was very happy for him! He was an honorable beautiful man, they broke the mold when then designed him! He will be eternally missed by all who knew him.

There will be a celebration of life to be at a date announced in the spring, his favorite season.
