Richard J. Snyder

On Sunday, July 22, 2018, Richard Snyder, 73, of North Kingstown passed away peacefully with his wife of almost 41 years, Janet Snyder, by his side.  He was the son of the late George and Dorothy Snyder.

Rick was a kind, thoughtful, and caring man who was always there to listen to and help anyone in need.  He was a retired school bus driver, a fantastic cook, an avid photographer and a music enthusiast.  He will be deeply missed by his family and a large group of friends from across the United States and Canada, his native country.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his son, Vishwajit Jha, two grandchildren, Vikram and Emerentiana Jha, three sister in laws, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  He was the brother of the late Paul Snyder.

He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

A Celebration of His Life will be held Wednesday, August 15 ^th at 11:00AM at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich.  In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to St. Jude’s Research Hospital.
