60, passed away in his sleep at Hospice Care Of Rhode Island 1085 North Main Street Providence, Rhode Island surrounded by his family on March 8, 2013.
He was born on January 5, 1953 in Providence, Rhode Island. He was a self taught mechanic and owned and operated his own repair shop. He enjoyed working on cars and could fix any car that he came across. Bobby loved his work as a mechanic for 30 years until he was forced to stop due to illness. He enjoyed cars, carnivals, Oakland Beach, cold beer and loved hanging with family and friends. Bobby was always there to help friends with car problems or whatever else they needed help with. If something needed to get fixed he figured out a way to get it done. That's just the type of guy he was. He was without a doubt one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Linda Smith Henning, his stepdaughters Brandy Lee and Amy Smith, stepsons Jason and Christopher Smith. His father Robert Cage, brothers Walter Burton, Theodore Burton, Rodney Burton, Randy Burton and Ray Miguez, sisters Laura Owen Jones, Sharon Burton, and Kelly Burton Campellone, an aunt Janet Taylor, uncles Robert Taylor and Anthony Vittirioso, sisters-in-law and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, cousins Laura and Dan B, and John V. were a very special part of Bobby's life. Also his extended family as well as his many lifelong friends like Karen, Debbie, and Wanda just to name a few. Bobby was a loving friend to all and we are all blessed to have had him in our lives. He was preceded in death by his mother Anna Mae Owens Cage, brother Steven Henning Sr, Aunt Beatrice and cousin George Vittorioso, Uncles George Taylor and Leroy Owens, all in heaven together again.
