Roger L. Gauvin

Roger L. Gauvin 78, a lifelong resident of West Warwick passed away March 30, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Mary T. (Lupo) Gauvin. Born in West Warwick he was a son of the late Leo and Edwina (Corriveau) Gauvin.

Mr. Gauvin was a self-employed carpenter and a US Army veteran. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren’s sports activities and watching professional football.

Besides his wife he is survived by four children; Eric R., Steven R., Keith A. Gauvin and Sharon R. Fratus; eleven grandchildren: Erica, Tyler, Amanda, Lily, Breigha, Brett, Taryn, and Seth Gauvin, Lindsey, Kaden and Sydney Fratus; and one great granddaughter Olivia Gauvin, siblings; Lorraine DuPont and Kenneth Gauvin and a sister in law Ethel Gauvin. He was the brother of the late Rene Gauvin and Annette LaMountain and the brother in law of the late Thomas LaMountain.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday April 6th at 10:00 am at St. Anthony Church, 10 Sunset Ave., West Warwick. Calling hours are omitted. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, West Warwick.
