Rose M. Dipippo

DiPippo, Rose M., 72, of North Kingstown, went to be with the Lord, February 10, 2016. She was surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Rudolph L. DiPippo. Born in E. Greenwich, she was the daughter of the late Nicola M. and Concetta “Etta” (Capezza) Zaino.

Mrs. DiPippo worked as a supervisor at Job Lot, as a monitor and in food services in the East Greenwich School System and for Weight Watchers. She also worked as a volunteer at St. Elizabeth home, where she had over 3000 hours of service; of all her jobs, being mother and grandmother were her favorite.

God was the most important thing in her life followed by family. She dedicated her time to serving God and her church. She touched the hearts of many with her gentle grace.

Besides her husband she is survived by her son, David C. DiPippo and his wife Sheila; her daughter, Julie C. Mattera and her husband John; her brother Michael N. Zaino and his wife Anna and grandchildren, Joshua, Micah and Leah.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, February 15, 2016 at 10:00AM at St. Francis de Sales Church, School St., N. Kingstown. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, E. Greenwich. Calling hours Sunday, February 14, 2016, 4-7PM at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., E. Greenwich. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Francis de Sales Church, 381 School St., N. Kingstown, RI 02852.
