Sandra A. Behar

Sandra A. Behar, 74, of East Greenwich, RI, passed away on December 2, 2018, after a two-year battle with cancer. Born in Providence, she is the daughter of Anita C. (Mancini) Costello and the late Walter G. Milazzo, step-daugher of Michael Costello. She is survived by her spouse, Dr. Jose Behar.

A magna cum laude graduate of RI College School of Nursing, Sandra was a dedicated Registered Nurse for over 35 years at Kent County Memorial Hospital.

She was an exemplary wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, aunt, friend - an amazing human being. Always full of love to give, Sandra was compassionate, caring and celebrated life to its fullest.

She was the adored mother of three sons, William Sheehan, David Sheehan (Susan), and James Sheehan (Meredith), as well as step-children, Tamara and Daniel Behar. She also leaves 8 beautiful grandchildren, Will, Caitlin, Kate, Liam, Abigail, Colin, Eva and Danny, around whom she built her life, leaving a loving legacy of always putting family first.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday Decemebr 7 ^th at 10:00 am at St. Francis de Sales Church, School St., North Kingstown. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Calling hours: Thursday December 6 ^th from 4-8 pm in the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich.
