Born in Providence on July 11, 1942, Sandra A. (Silvio) Ferrazzano age 83 of West Kingston, passed away peacefully on January 3rd at South Kingstown Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was surrounded by love. Sandra was the daughter of the late Joseph and Laura (Fazioli) Silvio.
Sandra was employed by Alga Plastics in Cranston, RI for over 30 years, while also working part-time at Off Track Bedding. In 1995, she took over as Store Manager and made Off Track Bedding her full-time home. After retiring in 2007, she traveled across the globe to check off her bucket list countries with her friends. She then began working part time at Macy’s, where she enjoyed helping people shop and met some of her closest friends.
Sandra was a devoted single-mother whose life purpose was her family. With strength, resilience, and an endless well of love, she raised her children on her own, always putting their needs before her own. She taught them the values of hard work, kindness, honesty, and unconditional love, and those lessons will live on through them.
Her greatest joy came from being a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Nothing made her prouder than watching her children grow and her grandchildren thrive. She cherished every moment spent with them—whether it was sharing stories, offering guidance, celebrating milestones, or simply being present. Her home and heart were always open, and her love was a constant source of comfort and stability.
Sandra was known for her kindness, strength, warm smile, sense of humor, selflessness, and her unwavering dedication to those she loved and of course her love of shopping. She leaves behind a legacy of love, sacrifice, and family that will be carried forward for generations.
She is survived by her children, Robin Croce (Rob); Tracy Barron (Sean) her grandchildren, Jessica Cervini (Anthony); Gianna Croce (Fiancé Steve); Sara Ferranti; Lili Barron (Fiancé Stu); Jake Barron and Cole Barron. Great Grandchildren; Giavanna Cervini; Julianna Cervini and Anthony Cervini, Jr.
