Sharon Ann Deignan

Sharon Ann Deignan (née Bing) of Providence, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and friends on Saturday, May 20th, 2023 at Roger Williams Medical Center. Born in Long Beach, California in 1943, the daughter of the late Dale Albert Bing and Garnet Lenore Bing (née Swinning) of Pataskala, Ohio, she lived in Ohio until the age of 19 when she moved to RI with her husband, whom she met while he was stationed at Fort Hayes, OH in 1962. She would use Messenger to talk interactively with family almost daily. For the past four years she has loved the ability to video-chat with her grandchildren on an almost daily basis using her Amazon Echo Show. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, David Patrick of Providence, RI, her son Michael Patrick and his wife Anna of Rehoboth MA, and Matthew Stanley of West Warwick. She is also survived by her sister Tonya Hughes and her husband Lawrence of Patakala, OH. She is further survived by her six grandchildren, Jennifer Lynne Homerston and her husband Adam of Johnston, James Alexander Deignan and his wife Theresa of Warwick, Jonathan Paul Deignan of Glocester, Dylana Marina Deignan of Cumberland, and lastly Muriel Aine Deignan and Olyvia Eostre Deignan, both of Rehoboth, MA. Finally, she is survived by her four great-grandchildren, Keira Lynne Tucker and Landon John, Logan David, and Amelia Josephine Homerston, all of Johnston. Visitation Friday May 26 from 830-930am in the J. F. Skeffington Funeral Home, 925 Chalkstone Avenue, Providence.
