Shirley E. Kingston

Shirley E. Kingston, 88, passed away February 8, 2017. She is survived by her husband of 65 years Alfred John Kingston, Jr. Born in Cranston she was a daughter of the late Martin L. and Ethel G. (Andrews) Farrell.

Mrs. Kingston was retiree of Hospital Trust Bank in Providence. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of East Greenwich and was a member of their choir. She was a fabulous artist, and loved to travel and was an avid gardener.

Besides her husband she is survived by three sons, John A. Kingston, Sr. and his wife Kathleen of North Kingstown, Jeffery G. Kingston and his wife Bridget of Warwick and Jay S. Kingston and his wife Barbara of Warwick, eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren and a sister Evelyn M. Hall. She was the sister of the late Robert J., Jr. and Martin L. Farrell.

Funeral service Saturday February 18th at 11:00 am at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich. Burial will be private. Visitation prior to the service will be from 9:00 – 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
