In Loving Memory of Steven “CIP” A. Cipriano August 30, 1980 – July 24, 2026

Steven “CIP” A. Cipriano, 45, of Rhode Island, passed away unexpectedly on July 24, 2026. Born in Providence, Rhode Island, Steven was the beloved son of Paula J. Callei (Cipriano).

Steven’s greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was being a father. He leaves behind his loving wife, Kayla Marsella, and his cherished children: David, Devon, Damon, Kenzley, and Destyni. His family was the center of his world, and he worked tirelessly to provide for them, offering unconditional love, guidance, and unwavering support.

In addition to his wife and children, Steven is survived by his devoted sisters, Stephanie Cipriano, Angela Barbosa, and Lisa Cipriano. He was the treasured uncle of Amin, Janiyah, Frankie-Lynn, Sincere, and Kennedy, all of whom he loved dearly. He also leaves behind many loving cousins, extended family members, godchildren, and countless friends whose lives were enriched by his presence.

Steven was predeceased by his beloved brother, Mark A. Cipriano.

Known affectionately as “CIP,” Steven had a larger-than-life personality. His infectious smile, generous heart, and gift for conversation made everyone around him feel welcome. He was a hardworking man who took great pride in providing for his family and believed that the measure of a person was found in the love they gave to others.

Steven found happiness in sports, music, and writing heartfelt poems and inspirational quotes that reflected his thoughts and emotions. A passionate sports fan, he faithfully cheered for the New England Patriots, Boston Celtics, and New York Yankees. He especially treasured the time he spent involved with his children’s activities, proudly supporting the North Providence Jets football league and celebrating every milestone alongside his sons and daughters.

Whether spending time with family, gathering with friends, or simply sharing stories and laughter, Steven made lasting memories wherever he went. Children naturally gravitated toward him, drawn by his kindness, humor, and genuine spirit. He had a remarkable ability to make others feel valued and loved.

Steven’s legacy is one of love, devotion, hard work, generosity, and family. He will forever be remembered for his unwavering pride in being a father, his compassionate heart, his unforgettable smile, and the countless lives he touched.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 in the SKEFFINGTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION 925 Chalkston Avenue Providence, RI 02908 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date. Though his time with us was far too short, Steven’s love, laughter, and spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
