Thomas W. Grimshaw

Thomas W. Grimshaw, 81, of North Kingstown, passed away January 27, 2017. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Beverly L. (Smith) Grimshaw. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Thomas and Miriam (Worthington) Grimshaw.

Mr. Grimshaw had worked as a machinist for the US Government for 38 years. He was a US Navy Korean War Veteran, a member of the East Greenwich American Legion Post #15 and enjoyed golf.

Besides his wife he is survived by his son Gregg T. Grimshaw and 5 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Glen A. Grimshaw and his brother John Grimshaw.

Committal prayers and military honors will be held Thursday at 10:30am at the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Contributions in his memory may be to the VNA of Care New England or charity of your choice.
