Vanessa Fevry

Vanessa Fevry, 23, of Providence Rhode Island, passed away peacefully and surrounded by loved ones on January 12, 2024 after a four-year battle with cancer. Vanessa was born on July 12, 2000 in Haiti. Vanessa was the daughter of Rosenie Delva and Kenel Fevry. At the age six, Vanessa moved to the United States. Vanessa graduated from Cranston East High School in 2019. After high school, she attended the Community College of Rhode Island where despite receiving her cancer diagnosis during her first year in college, she became determined to finish her studies. She earned her Associate Degree at Community College of Rhode Island in 2023. Her relationship with God gave her strength during her journey with cancer. She loved to listen to gospel music. During her free time, Vanessa enjoyed journaling, painting, and gathering with loved ones. Vanessa’s strength, love for life and determination were crucial as she faced many challenges while battling cancer. A battle she fought until the end, with grace and dignity. Vanessa was predeceased by Yonel Fevry, her grandfather. She is survived by Rosenie Delva, Jennifer, Mackenley, Jessica, Jonathan, Leiana, Talia, Jayson, Humene, Denise & Saderloune Fevry, Cyriane Despeignes, Westeenah Emile, Ashley Cadet and Isa Tejada. Services will be held at J.F. Skeffington Funeral Home and Cremations, 925 Chalkstone Ave Providence on Friday, January 26, 2024 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
