William A. Round

William A. Round, 93, passed away June 19, 2016. He was the husband of the late Margaret E. (Wilding) Round. Born in Montreal, Canada he was a son of the late Edmund and Florence (Adams) Round.

Mr. Round was a past Grand Master and Past Grand Patriarch of the International Order of Odd Fellows of RI. He was an active member of the Greenwich Bay community and a WWII Canadian Army veteran.

He is survived by two daughters, Judith M. Hughes and Allison D. Bowen, three grandchildren, one great granddaughter and a sister Lorna Wheatley. He was the father of the late Derrick W. Round.

Funeral service Friday July 29th at 11:00 at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., E .Greenwich. Burial will be in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. Visitation prior to the service will be from 10:00 – 11:00 am. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care.
